I’m known as Ariel Montine Strickland and also by the pen names, Jo Dora Webster and Sasha Zarya Nexus and by the nickname, Ari. My interests are:
- Science Fiction
- I’m a Trekkie and a fan of science fiction and fantasy. I have a Klingon persona named Dolqen Sot which I portray in a Klingon fan association. KAI, that gets together for fun and charity. I enjoy participating in Starfleet International where I hold the fictional rank of Captain.
- Living History
- I love to see history come to life especially the period of the Middle Ages. In the SCA (which is an educational group focused on Medieval life), I portray Alicia of Dunbar, a 14th Century Scot. In this venue at events, I love camping and hiking.
- Domestic Arts
- I enjoy sewing, cooking, gardening and maintaining a household.
- Relaxing
- I relax while singing and also by being connected through the Internet to find information, chatting and playing games.
- Faith
- My Faith plays an important part in my life. I was raised a southern baptist but more recently I’ve worshiped as a presbyterian and a methodist. I enjoy studying the bible and praying. I love to sing and listen to all kinds of christian music. It gives me great joy to know that through all the times in my life, God has always loved me unconditionally.
- Career
- I’m retired as a home health aide where I get to help others thru my medical training as a Certified Nursing Assistant. I also get to help by completing Activities of Daily Living like Housework which they may not be able to complete by themselves for various reasons.
